Professional services marketers are expected to win work, and typically that means a laser focus on pitches, proposals, presentations, and pursuits. However in many firms, marketers are tasked with far more than just the pursuit itself, and are expected to build the brand, run public relations activities, write and distribute external publications, and even tackle crisis communications.

As a follow up to her session last year on public relations 101, Emily Fors, Vice President of Communication with JE Dunn Construction, will explain the in depth best practices of media relations, press releases, media pitches and blasts, media tracking tips, and some of the best ways to communicate with clients, partners, and the public. She will also share some of her experiences and tips on how to handle crisis communications.
