Thank you Courtney Ross and Gina Brown

Nashville, TN – Thank you to Gina Brown, Project Manager for the State of Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development and Courtney Ross, VP of Economic Development for the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce who shared insightful strategies on how the State and the Nashville region work together to attract and retain companies. These methods have helped The State of Tennessee and the Nashville region consistently rank among the best places to relocate, expand and start a business.

Courtney Ross serves as VP of Economic Development for the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce. As a part of the economic development team through the Chamber’s Partnership 2020 initiative, Ross oversees all economic development activities involving existing business retention and expansion in the 10-county Nashville region. These responsibilities include support for CEO-level leadership of existing businesses and assistance for companies interested in expanding in the Nashville area. Ross is a native of Memphis and received her B.A. from the University of Arkansas.

Gina Brown, Project Manager, State of TN, Economic and Community Development, currently works as a Project Manager at ECD with responsibility for projects in the Middle Tennessee region. She has been with ECD since 2008 and has successfully managed large scale investments such as Loews Hotels Shared Services Center, 3M and Asurion and currently manages projects representing more than $150 million in potential capital investment in Tennessee. Brown is a graduate of the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga.
