Keeping an entrepreneurial mindset is crucial to success, according to Craig Galati, AIA, FSMPS, CPSM. Craig, the immediate past president of SMPS National and Principal of LGA Architects in Las Vegas, offers an uncommon perspective on rediscovering a firm’s identity and who they wanted to be.

On November 9th, Craig will join us in Nashville to host two unique sessions. The morning session will be a principals-only event where he will discuss thinking more broadly about what marketing is and the value behind empowering marketing and business development staff to transform thought processes. Without these crucial roles, a firm risks becoming irrelevant. Marketers have the proven ability to develop strategies to find high-margin work. This session will teach you how to turn your marketing and business development staff into a team of trusted advisors that understand your business and provide a great rate of return.

The afternoon session will be a hands-on workshop for marketing and business development “doers.” This session will teach you how to add value to your organization, raising the level of expectations amongs principals for what marketing can do.  By understanding the needs of the business more clearly, you will gain insights into what matters to principals and how you can move to the trusted advisor role.
